Kids Can Help Global Warming By Being Advocates For Change
We all need to understand that since global warming will affect all of us in one way or another, we need to contribute to the issue as best we can.

I know that young minds are just as concerned as I am about what animals must be going through during global warming. But rather than feeling helpless, they can take steps that will positively change the situation.
These same advancements will help people as well and should be addressed no matter what is happening to our environment. I am thinking about our use of forests, the way we farm, how we navigate our cities, our use of products and waste and how we relate to other living creatures.
Think about how humans use the rest of the planet. Do we really need to use animals for testing, to make clothing? Alternative methods are available. And by helping the problems they experience in their eco-systems, we are also helping ourselves.
We need to think cleaner in terms of the use of chemicals and what they do to our bodies and other living things. Support healthier options and work towards natural solutions that benefit insects, flowers, herbs, animals and us.
Alternative uses of wood should be a priority and we are making advances there such as less paper use through digital options. But we are still not being efficient in what foresters are doing in terms of forest protection.
Our use of products has to be completely overhauled. All that waste is inexcusable and shipping it to other areas on the planet is not the answer. We need to create rules that will not allow any kind of waste that cannot be reused or recycled in a sustainable way.
The very food we eat has to be changed to consider what our bodies actually need. No more processed foods. Think of the money that could be saved and misery that could be averted with more natural considerations.
We must protect our whole foods and find the best way to preserve nutrition and the way it is grown. Consideration has to be taken on water usage and quality. We are adaptable and it is time to change how we live in our societies.
