I am a firm believer in finding the sunny side of life because being optimistic tends to bring much more happiness to you. That attraction can be proven mathematically and the benefits are life long.

So if positive begets more of the same, why are people still investing time in the opposite or at least why are they not interested in making things better for themselves and the ones they love?

That is a serious question and one that deserves our attention. After all, we cannot hope to deliver a better future for our children if we ourselves are not investing in discovery regarding what makes us happy and seeking the best outcome to pass along.

Until we know for sure, we should not be having children because our choices and attitude significantly alter how they feel about themselves. Children are like sponges and they notice what you do and how you react to it.

This is not about what you tell kids. It is about what you show them through your actions and your temperament will show through. Anyone with significant trauma still unresolved cannot be leading a happy life.

So it stands to reason that we need to be a happy camper who sees life as full of possibilities and promise. New Age thinking does indicate we need a deep level of understanding in this area.

Negativity does not bring joy and only attracts more of the same. You might actually find that you both can learn new horizons through seeking out pursuits that offer good, clean fun.

Of all the legacies you can leave your little ones, this is the most important because it will teach them how to treat others and offer them the best chances to thrive. And besides, all stories need a happy ending.
